I was inspired to start a blog about my passion with Life, Fibromyalgia, addiction, motherhood, and helping others. I have a deep fondness to share my experiences and offer hope for those that bestow the same battles I’ve gone through and still go through. It’s important to me to break the cycles of unhealthy behaviors I lived with for so many years, not just for me but for anyone that is looking to do the same.
Moms On Vicodin is a place where I will share honest stories, food recipes, mom life, facts about drugs and our bodies, and so on. I am not a doctor or a nurse and I don’t feel that what works for me will work for everyone. However, I am driven to at least share what I know. It’s up to you to take it or leave it.
As for me, I am a mother of two loving and smart teenage boys and a wife to the most supportive and caring husband. I am currently a licensed CDCA with the hopes that I will be able to help others turn their life around for the better. I have fought addictions to several different prescription pills and alcohol for 11 years. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 2014 and it’s been one hell of a tired painful roller coaster ride ever since. I’m also a girl who loves fashion and dogs and painting and nail polish and reading and pinning like crazy on Pinterest. I’m blessed to be where I’m at today.
This is a non-judgmental blog so please leave comments or questions. I would love to hear your own experiences, opinions, and ideas.
